Brands are competing with one another for customer favour and loyalty. Creating a loyalty programme is a key tool that enables a company to easily expand its customer base and strengthen customer engagement. It has long been recognised that consumers\u2019 emotions have a huge impact on their bond with a brand. Based on this evidence, we can conclude that loyalty programmes today should build long-term relationships by creating exceptional user experiences. It is therefore worth considering so-called omnichannel loyalty programmes, the implementation of which will enable the ideas described above to be realised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Omnichannel loyalty schemes \u2013 what exactly are they?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnichannel loyalty programmes are initiatives that focus on building touchpoints with customers across all available distribution and communication channels used by the loyalty programme organiser. Their organisers focus on engaging the consumer at every point of contact with the brand, from visits to high-street shops, through online shopping, to interactions via social media. The aim is simple \u2013 the user must <a href=\"https:\/\/i360.com.pl\/en\/loyalty-programme-how-to-increase-member-engagement\/\" class=\"ek-link\">to commit to a relationship<\/a> with the organiser across all available channels, including mobile apps and websites. It is important to bear in mind, however, that the channels developed should work together seamlessly. This consistency is a key criterion for assessing the effectiveness of omnichannel loyalty programmes. Loyalty programmes should focus on a few key areas, such as quick and easy access to shopping across all possible devices, as well as personalised shopping offers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Omnichannel \u2013 why all the fuss?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Multi-channel loyalty programmes are absolutely essential for a company to develop and maintain a profitable sales strategy. Furthermore, they also help to improve consumer perception and, consequently, boost sales revenue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research has shown that around 70% companies using omnichannel loyalty programmes have recorded a significant increase in the value of their sales transactions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another advantage of omnichannel loyalty programmes is that they facilitate regular communication between the consumer and the organising company. We must not forget another important aspect, namely the ability to reward users immediately for, amongst other things, their increased purchasing activity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Omnichannel loyalty schemes available on the Polish market<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It seems that the Polish market is lacking in multi-channel loyalty programmes, but there are a few real gems to be found there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the prime examples of omnichannel loyalty schemes are those that utilise <a href=\"https:\/\/i360.com.pl\/en\/mobile-apps-in-loyalty-schemes\/\">mobile apps<\/a>. Each user has their own (usually virtual) membership card, which they can use to identify themselves at the till or to bypass the till operator entirely by paying directly via the app\u2019s payment features. This allows the user to make a payment easily, whilst also earning bonus points for their transactions. This is a huge convenience for the consumer, as they do not need to use two cards (a loyalty card and a payment card) when paying; all they need to do is show the cashier their virtual club card or scan the barcodes of the products they are buying into the app\u2019s shopping basket.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any changes made by a user to their profile or card are immediately updated across all the brand\u2019s available channels. Another advantage of this type of programme is the regular promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More and more brands are choosing to move away from physical cards in favour of virtual ones available via an app. These include companies such as Starbucks, Green Caffe Nero, H&amp;M, Carrefour, Lidl, Ikea and Rossmann. Of course, these are just some of the brands that have opted to introduce this solution. Thanks to this innovative method, consumers do not need to carry a physical card with them; all they need to do is show the cashier their unique ID code, which they can find in the mobile app. It is also an excellent solution for businesses, as it saves them the money they would otherwise have to spend on producing cards.
