Both t<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">ermin<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">they are<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> equivalent<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">e<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">i <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">o<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">sketches<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">her <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the use of techniques<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">used<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> in game design<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> computer<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> to achieve the intended <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">objectives<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">in promotional campaigns, e.g. loyalty schemes or sales promotions, i.e. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to increase activity <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and motivation <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a selected group of participants.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Gamification <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">used in many fields <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">contemporary<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> life, use<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">it is used <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">including, amongst other things, education, marketing and the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><span class=\"ugb-highlight\" style=\"color: var(--palettecolor1, #e0461e);\">Gamification requirements<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The main aim of gamification is to increase engagement and activity <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a specific target audience. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">However, in order to <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">achievement <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The intended objectives were<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> possible<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> it must meet <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a few essential criteria. The first and most important of these is<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">h is the definition of the objective <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">gamification<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He should<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> he<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> to be<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> precisely defined<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> e.g.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> as<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> increased user motivation<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> by generating a login rate of at least 85% participants per loyalty scheme account <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">at least<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Twice a week. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The second<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> an equally important criterion<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> there are emotions such as <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">gamification should generate<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. What we\u2019re talking about here is <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">including, amongst other things, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">experiencing satisfaction after <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a job well done. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is also important that <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the use of various elements from games<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> These include, first and foremost, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">rewarding users, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">competition or elements of surprise.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is important to bear in mind that gamification is<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> like a system of interconnected vessels. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">All elements must be consistent with one another<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">i<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> whilst complementing one another. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The design and presentation are very important <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">graphic<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> related to gamification<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">All in all, s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">programme being developed <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">should<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> encourage a participant <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and make sure that <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">will enjoy using it as much as possible.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> That is when it will achieve its specific objectives.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><span class=\"ugb-highlight\" style=\"color: var(--palettecolor1, #e0461e);\">Gamification in education<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gamification is also used in areas unrelated to marketing activities in the broadest sense. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">During the pandemic, it plays a particularly important role<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">k<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">necessity <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">motivation<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> pupils<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> and students. The lack of direct contact with fellow students<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">m<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and from a class or group<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> academic<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, leads to a decline in motivation to study <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">compared with previous years<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> previous<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">At this point <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to the rescue <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">is coming <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">g<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">amification.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Introduction <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">for learning<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">elements from<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">drawn from the world<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> games<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">computer <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">increases p<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">First and foremost, commitment <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">audience. <\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">As children complete various missions in the form of school tasks, they receive rewards, which has an impact on<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> significantly<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> on their motivation and willingness to <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">next<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">such progress<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Introduction of a component <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">team games in the virtual world <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">improves<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> communication between <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">peers<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and also <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">improves integration <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">within a particular group or class.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Z<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It may come as a surprise that<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">g<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">competition<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> significantly boosts the pupil\u2019s self-esteem. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">After each <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Upon successfully completing a task, the user receives a reward and feedback<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">S<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The reward system must be clearly defined; above all, it must be fair <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and the same for everyone <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">users. Benefits should be granted <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">in several stages<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> and also when the intended objective has been achieved.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Making changes to the game we have designed is absolutely crucial. This will help us avoid the monotony and boredom that pupils might experience. These factors have an effect<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">would have a demotivating effect on them, which <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">would result in a reduction<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> activity<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">these<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">elements of surprise<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> or new challenges<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> They definitely increase customer satisfaction, so it\u2019s worth using them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A specially designed game should <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">have clearly defined rules, so that participants know what they need to pay attention to.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Important<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">e<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> there is also<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> defining the objective, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This will ensure that the pupil is aware of what they need to do <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">do to achieve it and win.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In addition <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">z<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the use of different levels <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">obstacles <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">will provide more excitement and help the player develop.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><span class=\"ugb-highlight\" style=\"color: var(--palettecolor1, #e0461e);\">Gamification and loyalty schemes<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Nowadays, more and more <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">difficultly<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The aim is to surprise the consumer.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> The introduction of gamification as an additional component <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to the programme <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">loyalty scheme,<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">deliver<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and gave the participants plenty of positive emotions. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Incorporating elements from computer games will enhance the customer\u2019s satisfaction whilst shopping<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. As a result, the consumer <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">has a better shopping experience with the brand, which translates into greater engagement on their part<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> and loyalty.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is important to introduce a rewards scheme and clearly define the rules for earning them. The criteria may vary, depending on the organiser\u2019s creativity<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. Application of the system <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">everyday <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">rewarding performance<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">ear<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> per user <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">increase in frequency<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> interaction with <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the organiser\u2019s initiative.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Rewards may be awarded for making purchases of a certain value or for <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">leaving a review of a particular product, or even just for visiting <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">on the website <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">online. As you can see, there are plenty of possibilities, which means we can easily influence <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">increase in activity<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> consumer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">An interesting example of the practical application of gamification is the campaign s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">ie<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">these<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> Rossmann chemist\u2019s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, which<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">implemented<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> recently to its loyalty scheme <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a gamified challenge called \u201eCan You Feel the Vibe?\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">To earn points, participants have three options:<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">U<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">a section on tasks, missions and challenges<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. Points are awarded for every task completed correctly.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Their number<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> decreases as the number of mistakes the player makes increases during <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">their <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">carried out<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">P<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">take part in a creative challenge in which participants must complete a project strictly defined by the organiser<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This might involve adding a photo or a description that meets <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the criteria described. <\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211;<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">W<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Join the KPI challenge<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, which involves achieving a pre-determined objective, such as the purchase of products<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, which are taking part in the \u201eFeel the Climate\u201d campaign\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Every user has access to the \u201eRewards\u201d tab, which contains<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the available range of benefits, strict rules governing their allocation, and the number of points required to claim them.<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">However, the programme mentioned above is not the only one in Poland to have introduced elements of gamification. <\/span><span style=\"display: inline-block; height: 1em;\"><span style=\"display: none;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><span class=\"ugb-highlight\" style=\"color: var(--palettecolor1, #e0461e);\">Summary<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"display: inline-block; height: 1em;\"><span style=\"display: none;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gamification <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">are becoming increasingly common in everyday life<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> everyday<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is used in many fields, including education and business. Its main aim is to increase activity <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and audience engagement. Thanks to the elements introduced from<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">drawn from the world<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> games<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the participant experiences one new thing after another <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">challenges and <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">emotions<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">G<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">amification <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In education, it works really well for <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to boost pupils\u2019 motivation, whilst the approach used in loyalty schemes leads to increased consumer loyalty and engagement.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><span class=\"ugb-highlight\" style=\"color: var(--palettecolor1, #e0461e);\">Postscript<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Gamification is one of the marketing strategies that is rapidly gaining momentum. Why are more and more companies deciding to adopt it? According to the latest research, companies that have opted for this approach have observed:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>an increase in consumer activity of approximately 47%,<\/li>\r\n<li>an increase in consumer brand loyalty of approximately 22%,<\/li>\r\n<li>an increase in general brand awareness of approximately 15%.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>On analysing the above data, it is clear that investing in gamification simply pays off. However, it is still important to bear in mind that gamification must be carefully designed in every respect in order to achieve its intended objectives.<\/p>\r\n<p>Doug Palmer, a well-known analyst, has identified four key points that should be included when designing gamification. <\/p>\r\n<p>The first of these is the progression path, which combines the development of the storyline with the challenges the user must overcome. The player must have a specific goal to strive towards. The organiser should therefore set out, at the outset, the conditions under which the consumer will earn rewards.<\/p>\r\n<p>Feedback and rewards are another criterion to bear in mind. Users should receive feedback after every successfully completed action. Whilst this may seem unnecessary to many developers, verbal praise is a key motivational factor here. Of course, we mustn\u2019t forget the benefits mentioned earlier, as these are, after all, the main reason why consumers engage with gamification. The path to earning a reward mustn\u2019t be too difficult for the user. Why? Because this can effectively discourage the user from taking part in challenges.<\/p>\r\n<p>Another important aspect is the social element \u2013 that is, the opportunity for players to compare their performance with one another. As well as competing, participants can motivate one another to tackle further challenges. This ensures that every player will progress and strive to achieve the best position relative to the others.<\/p>\r\n<p>The final factor is user experience and the interface. This involves the use of specific elements that make the platform easy to use, whilst the graphic design not only appeals to the user\u2019s eye but also makes their participation in gamification easier and more enjoyable.
